Your comprehensive guide to all the novels

The Asylum Soul is my debut, published in 2015, and to date remains my most popular novel. It was always meant to be just a ‘one-off,’ but fortunately, some people liked it and urged me to carry on writing. So I did!

In 2017, I published my paranormal novel Fly Back and Purify. It wasn’t a sequel to The Asylum Soul; however, it did address some of the unanswered questions, such as ‘What happened to Tommy?’ I had left open at the end. One kind reader described the book as a ‘cult classic ’, which I thought was very generous.

By now, I had caught the writing bug, and in 2019, An Invisible Nemesis was released. I knew I had to look at a change of subject matter, and to date, this is still very different from all my other books.

Jude & Bliss, published in 2020, is a novel very close to my heart. The research itself was intense and very poignant. This included a visit to Bagshot Cemetery to the grave of Emily Jane Popejoy, who inspired my character, Jude Rogers. The book also received a big shout-out via a video link from the iconic singer and actress Toyah Willcox, which you can see elsewhere on this website.

I loved writing Fluke’s Cradle, which was published in 2022. The novel is set in my hometown of Camberley in Surrey. The book enabled me to resurrect some elements of my past, including locations and some of the people who were around back in the 1970s.

The Story of Virna Babineaux came out in 2023. Again, it has a paranormal element. In my opinion, the book deserves much more recognition than it has so far received; however, this is probably down to an avoidable own goal by myself on the marketing front, as due to some unusual deadlines, I was in a rush to get In the Shadow of Marc Bolan released so soon after.

In the Shadow of Marc Bolan is my 2nd best-selling novel to date and was published in July 2024. It has received many accolades and some great exposure. It has been endorsed by the Official Marc Bolan Fan Club, The T.Rex Action Group, and Danielz, the lead singer of the tribute band T.Rextasy, amongst others.

My latest novel, Betrayal of the Soul, published in June 2026, is a psychological self-analysis by a man in his late forties grappling with the fallout of a serious midlife crisis. I've been asked if Betrayal of the Soul is my autobiography in disguise. Mmm. I suggest you read it, and if you know me, tell me what you think!
